Lucy Jones
Dentist: Mrs Lucy Jones BDS (Bris Eng) GDC no 103280
Lucy studied dentistry at Bristol Dental Hospital gaining her BDS qualification in 2006. Lucy then went on to complete the MJDF qualification from the Royal College of Surgeons in 2008.
Lucy has an interest in all aspects of dentistry and provides treatment privately or on a Denplan basis.
Thomas Farrant
Mr Thomas Farrant BDS (Bris Eng) GDC no 244622
Thomas studied dentistry at Bristol Dental Hospital gaining his BDS qualification in 2013. Thomas then went on to complete his FD1 year in Wellington, before starting at J.H. Stevens in August 2014.
Thomas has an interest in all aspects of dentistry and provides treatment privately or on a Denplan basis.
Alex Brett
Mr Alex Brett BDS (Bris Eng) MFDS GDC no 244328
Alex studied dentistry at Bristol Dental Hospital gaining his BDS qualification in 2013. Alex went on to work in general practice in London, as well as in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at King’s College Hospital, prior to returning to the South West to work in Bath and Somerset.
Alex has an interest in all aspects of dentistry and provides treatment privately or on a Denplan basis.
Kelly Jordan
Dental Nurse GDC 195652
Kelly joined the practice in 2007. during the first few months at the practice she trained for her dental nursing exam, before gaining the qualification on the 21st of November 2009. Kelly enjoys all aspects of dental nursing and has become an essential part of the dental team at the practice.
Amy Wellsbury
Dental Nurse GDC:150083
Amy joined the practice in 2003 and was first registered as a qualified Dental Nurse in June 2008.
Amy is a valuable member of the team working both in the surgery and out at reception.
She enjoys all aspects of Dental nursing, especially interacting with patients.
Sarah Bissett
Dental Nurse GDC 150179
Sarah has been part of JHSDental since May 1989 having recently celebrated 30 years of working for the Practice. Sarah was first registered as a Qualified Dental Nurse in June 2008
Sarah is very well known to all of our patients and really enjoys interacting with them.
Working predominantly at reception, She uses her excellent administration and personal skills to ensure the smooth running of the practice.
Carly Millard
Dental Nurse GDC: 216873
Carly joined the Practice in April 2009. She studied at Bristol Dental Hospital shortly after starting her position and gained her N.E.B.D.N Qualification in August 2011.
She loves being part of a close team and enjoys nursing alongside the Dentists as well as helping out with reception duties.
Emma Medland
Trainee Dental Nurse
Emma is the newest member of the team, joining the practice in July 2018.
She is currently training at Bristol Dental Hospital to achieve her N.E.B.D.N Qualification.
Michelle Attwood
Practice Manager / Dental Nurse GDC: 157775
Michelle joined the Practice in August 1995 and was first registered as a qualified Dental Nurse in August 2008.
She enjoys all aspects of working at the practice, in particular the Aesthetic side of Dentistry.
Michelle was promoted in February 2019 to Practice Manager and is currently extending her skills into helping with the management of the Practice.

Historical timeline
- The practice was started by John Henry Stevens in 1947 and founded as a limited company in 1955.
- John retired in the mid 60’s and passed the practice on to his nephew Bruce Rolls
- In 1971 Johns other nephew Christopher and his wife Mary Farrant joined the practice. They took over the running of the practice in 1977.
- 2007 Mrs Lucy Jones (nee Farrant) joined the practice.
- 2014 Mr Thomas Farrant joined the practice.
- 2018 Mr Alex Brett joined the practice.
